• 1.5 - 3 hours for a full groom.

• 1 - 2 hours for a bath & blowout.

• 15 - 30 minutes for mini services.

Working with animals is unpredictable, so exact times can be hard to determine. We’ll always go at your dog’s pace to keep things safe, calm, and comfortable.

That said—we can absolutely work around your schedule. If you need your pup back by a certain time, just let us know when you book.

At Stellar Tails Grooming, the only required vaccination is rabies—in accordance with Oregon state law.

📌 Rabies Vaccine Requirement:

• All dogs 6 months of age and older must be up-to-date on their rabies vaccination to receive grooming services.

• This requirement is in place to protect your pet, our team, and the community. Rabies is a serious and legally regulated public health concern.

📄 Accepted Proof of Vaccination:

To meet this requirement, we accept:

• A Rabies Certificate issued by a licensed veterinarian

• Veterinary records clearly listing the rabies vaccine and its expiration date

Please note: Rabies tags alone are not accepted as valid proof of vaccination.

⏱️ Timing:

If your dog was recently vaccinated, please allow at least 48 hours before their grooming appointment. This gives them time to recover from any mild side effects and ensures they’re feeling their best during their visit.

🐾Puppies Under 6 Months:

Puppies are welcome! We do not require rabies vaccination for dogs under six months of age. However, we encourage early grooming visits to help them acclimate and build positive experiences.

Our pricing is based on a few key factors:
your dog’s size, coat type, condition, and the services requested.

If you're unsure where your pup fits, we’re happy to give a quote before or during the appointment.

🔍 Things That May Affect Final Price:

• Matting or impacted undercoat

• Fleas or ticks

• Behavioral challenges that require additional time or handling

• Extra-large breeds or dogs over 100 lbs

• Heavily soiled or unmaintained coats

If your pup needs extra time or attention, we’ll always communicate that with you up front and explain any additional fees before moving forward.
